PgWorksheet Installation

Operating systems

Select your operating system for detailed instructions for installing PgWorksheet:

• FreeBSD
• Microsoft Windows XP/Vista
• Linux Fedora
• Linux Mandriva
• Linux Ubuntu
• OpenSUSE

If your operating system is not listed here or if something goes wrong with the binary, pre-compiled packages :

• Install the dependencies : see above for each operating system or below for generic insctructions
• Download the os-independent package
• Install the package :

cd pgworksheet-1.9
python setup.py build
python setup.py install

Once installed, execute the pgworksheet script.

PgWorksheet requires the following softwares to run :

• Python 2.4 or better
• Python GTK+ 2.6.2 or better
• python-pgsql or pyPgSQL (and mxDateTime for pyPgSQL)

Please use the package/port system of your Linux distribution or UNIX/BSD system to install these dependencies.
